In addition to LUNA, other projects such as decred, hedera, arweave, harmony, and cosmos also saw gains over the last 24 hours on Sunday, contributing to an increase of $50 billion in the total cryptocurrency market capitalization, which now stands at over $2.2 trillion.

Bitcoin has also experienced significant volatility as it struggled to surpass the $51,000 level on December 12 and subsequently dropped below $46,000. Despite receiving support from bullish investors to reach $48,000, it was unable to sustain its growth and has since retreated by more than $1,000, keeping its market capitalization below $900 billion.
