Flora Duffy, the 2021 Olympic gold medalist, concluded her illustrious short-course career with a commendable fifth-place finish behind Cassandre Beaugrand in Paris. This honorable farewell came after a year-long recovery from a significant knee injury, displaying her remarkable resilience and skill. Taylor Spivey, who earned a silver medal as part of the United States Mixed Relay team, also brings her notable talent to the race, joining Paris teammate Taylor Knibb in a star-studded field of elite athletes.

Australian sensation Ashleigh Gentle, currently leading the 2024 series standings following her recent triumph in London, is eager to reignite her competitive rivalry with Knibb.
