On August 29, 2024, a delegation comprising 65 esteemed athletes and 8 dedicated coaches from China’s Olympic team arrived in Hong Kong for a three-day engagement aimed at showcasing their remarkable talents and fostering connections with the local community. The athletes, representing 16 distinct sporting disciplines, were warmly received at the airport by distinguished officials from the local government, including the Honorable Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism.
