At the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, 19-year-old Hector Denayer achieved a remarkable feat by securing his first Paralympic medal, a silver, in the SB9 100 meter breaststroke. This notable accomplishment took place during the highly anticipated Para swimming events. Hector, originally targeting the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, demonstrated extraordinary talent and determination that led him to succeed at this year’s competition.
