Bangladesh Deems India’s Recent Comments as Unwarranted Interference

Foreign ministry spokesperson Mohammad Rafiqul Alam conveyed this during a weekly briefing, highlighting that comments made by India’s External Affairs Ministry (MEA) on Bangladesh’s elections and law and order were viewed as misrepresentations that do not reflect the current situation in Bangladesh.
Alam emphasized that Bangladesh considers these issues to be completely internal and that the remarks from New Delhi constitute unwarranted interference. He articulated the country’s commitment to upholding national sovereignty and emphasized the importance of mutual respect between Bangladesh and India.
