Liu Jinsong, the Director General of Asia at the Chinese Foreign Ministry, attended the festival, reflecting the growing camaraderie between the two nations. Indian Ambassador to China, Pradeep Kumar Rawat, expressed that spring symbolizes “new beginnings, strengthening of bonds and opportunity to experience the essence of India.”
The festive atmosphere coincided with the thawing of relations following a significant meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Kazan, Russia, during the BRICS summit.
