In his remarks to Ambassador Edgar Rodrigo Rojas Garavito of Colombia, President Marcos highlighted their shared aspirations for sustainable peace and development. Notably, formal diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Colombia commenced on July 5, 1946, with approximately 100 Filipinos residing in Colombia.

President Marcos underscored the desire to bolster ties with Cambodia, acknowledging their robust foundation and potential for growth. He welcomed Ambassador Sin Saream and expressed eagerness for enhanced cooperation benefiting both Filipinos and Cambodians, as diplomatic relations were formally established on August 20, 1957, with around 7,500 Filipinos living in Cambodia.

Ambassador Yuliia Oleksandrivna Fediv of Ukraine also indicated her commitment to strengthening bilateral interactions. President Marcos reaffirmed the Philippines’ dedication to supporting Ukraine in its pursuit of lasting peace and expressed readiness to explore ways to assist, even from afar. Diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Ukraine date back to April 7, 1992, with approximately 24 Filipinos currently residing in Ukraine.
