Huthi media has reported US warplanes conducted 17 strikes in Yemen, causing damage to civilian properties. On Wednesday, Huthi media sources reported a series of strikes in the Yemeni regions of Saada and Amran, attributing them to United States warplanes. These reports from the rebels’ Ansarollah website indicated that the air raids were aggressive and caused substantial damage to civilian property; however, no specific casualty figures were provided.
The United States announced on March 15 a military campaign directed at the Iranian-aligned Huthis, stating its intention to utilize overwhelming force.
