ZNShine Solar Advances Honduras’ Renewable Energy with Patuca Project
ZNShine Solar has partnered in the development of the 50MW Patuca Solar Project in Honduras, enhancing the country’s clean energy capacity with high-efficiency solar modules. The project is financed by the Central Bank of Honduras and is scheduled for commissioning in October 2025.
ZNShine Solar, a leader in photovoltaic technology, has partnered with Honduras for the 50MW Patuca Solar Project. This initiative, developed by the Empresa Nacional de Energía Eléctrica de Honduras (ENEE) and executed by Representaciones Mecánico Eléctricas, S.A. (REMESA), marks a significant advancement in the nation’s clean energy transition. Financing was secured via non-recourse debt from the Central Bank of Honduras in December 2024.
ZNShine’s high-efficiency 12BB PERC Monofacial Double-Glass Modules have been selected for this project, noted for their superior durability, enhanced energy yield, and proven wind resistance, making them ideal for large-scale solar installations. The scheduled commissioning of the project is set for October 2025, further strengthening Honduras’ renewable energy capacity and contributing to national energy security.
