Tremors Felt in Bangladesh from 7.3-magnitude Earthquake in Myanmar
A 7.3-magnitude earthquake centered in Myanmar was felt in Bangladesh and other neighboring regions. The tremors resulted in no casualties. The earthquake occurred at 12:25 PM with a depth of 10 kilometers, closely impacting areas near the Bangladesh border.
On March 28, 2025, a significant earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale struck central Myanmar, resulting in noticeable tremors felt across Bangladesh, including Dhaka and Chattogram. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties associated with this seismic event.
The earthquake, although classified as major by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, has thus far resulted in no casualties. The event serves as a reminder of the seismically active nature of the region, with tremors impacting neighboring countries as well.
