ZNShine Solar has announced its involvement as the module supplier for the 50MW Patuca Solar Project in Honduras. This project, spearheaded by Empresa Nacional de Energía Eléctrica de Honduras (ENEE) and executed by Representaciones Mecánico Eléctricas, S.A. (REMESA), marks a pivotal development in the nation’s transition to renewable energy.

Financed by the Central Bank of Honduras through non-recourse debt in December 2024, the project features ZNShine’s high-efficiency 12BB PERC Monofacial Double-Glass Modules. These modules are recognized for their durability in adverse weather, enhanced energy yield, and strong wind resistance, making them suitable for large-scale applications.

The commissioning of the Patuca Solar Project is scheduled for October 2025, which will augment Honduras’ renewable energy capacity and reinforce the country’s energy security objectives.
