Structural damages were evident as swimming pools atop skyscrapers overflowed, creating waterfalls that cascaded onto the streets. Videos purportedly captured the aftermath, showing the aftermath in China and Bangkok, where pool water surged off rooftops with great force, sweeping away those present near the edges into the streets below.
