During this call, they exchanged Eid greetings and Sharif extended an invitation to Yunus to visit Islamabad at his convenience. He emphasized a “shared commitment” to enhance bilateral relations between their nations.

Sharif highlighted the upcoming visit of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to Dhaka on April 22. This visit marks the first by a Pakistani Foreign Minister to Bangladesh since 2012 and signifies the potential for improved relations, as Sharif remarked that the future “looks bright” for both countries.
