He led a Chinese delegation in discussions with Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, focusing on industrial integration and supply chain resilience. China expressed its support for Brazil’s 2024 BRICS presidency and aims for a “Golden 50 Years” of collaboration and solidarity among Global South countries.

Co-organized by CCPIT and the Brazil-China Business Council, the forum witnessed over 100 delegates from various sectors, leading to agreements worth more than US$2 billion in areas including agriculture and mining. Ren Hongbin’s delegation included over 40 companies from diverse fields such as agriculture, finance, infrastructure, and healthcare, engaging in strategic discussions while exploring local business opportunities.
