Cambodia Airways Launches Non-Stop Flight from Phnom Penh to Hong Kong
Cambodia Airways has successfully launched a non-stop flight between Phnom Penh and Hong Kong on April 1, 2025. The inaugural event was attended by prominent figures and marks the airline’s fourth route to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. The new service aims to facilitate business travel and cultural exchange, further strengthening connections in the region.
On April 1, 2025, Cambodia Airways inaugurated its non-stop flight service between Phnom Penh and Hong Kong at Hong Kong International Airport. The event featured distinguished guests, including Mr. Perry Yiu, Legislative Council Member, and Mr. Johnny So, Director of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, among others. Mr. Edison Duan, BOD & CEO of Cambodia Airways, led the celebration with a delegation, marking the launch of this significant route.
The Phnom Penh-Hong Kong flight is Cambodia Airways’ fourth direct connection to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, alongside services to Macau, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. This expansion enhances Cambodia Airways’ network presence in one of China’s most dynamic economic regions, positioning Cambodia as a burgeoning investment destination within the ASEAN framework.
As Cambodia’s only full-service airline, Cambodia Airways offers high-quality business class services infused with Khmer cultural characteristics. The new route aims to ease travel for business passengers and foster industrial collaboration, simultaneously attracting more Hong Kong tourists to explore Cambodia’s rich heritage and engage in cultural exchanges.
During the inaugural celebration, Cambodia Airways partnered with SATS HK Limited and Megacap Aviation Service Limited to warmly welcome the flight crew of KR507 upon their arrival in Hong Kong. Passengers on the return flight to Phnom Penh received thoughtful souvenirs and warm wishes for their journey. The inaugural flight KR508 landed at Phnom Penh International Airport at 2 PM local time, where the airport staff greeted the first travelers with traditional Khmer jasmine garlands to commemorate the momentous occasion.
