China and Zimbabwe have established two significant agreements focused on enhancing airport infrastructure maintenance and improving skills training in the transportation sector. The formalization of these agreements took place in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, with the endorsement from both nations’ representatives. This information was reported by Xinhua News Agency, a collaborator of TV BRICS.
Zimbabwe’s Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, Joshua Sacco, highlighted the advantages of this technical cooperation, stating that it would allow Zimbabwe to benefit from China’s advanced knowledge in transportation infrastructure. He remarked on the importance of skilled labor in correlation with the expansion of the country’s airports.
Sacco expressed appreciation for the partnership with the Chinese company, underscoring its role in facilitating Zimbabwe’s infrastructure modernization. He articulated how the collaboration aligns with the country’s industrialization objectives.
Ma Xin, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, led a delegation to Zimbabwe and remarked on the increasing demand for robust infrastructure as Zimbabwe pursues industrialization. Ma expressed the enthusiasm of Jiangsu’s engineering and construction firms to play a role in advancing Zimbabwe’s infrastructure initiatives.
