A Look at Current and Former NCAA Student-Athletes Winning Medals at the 2024 Olympics in Paris
The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris have garnered an impressive turnout of over 1,000 former, incoming, or current NCAA student-athletes from more than 100 countries, with nearly 400 competing for Team USA. The competition, which spans from Friday, July 26 through Sunday, Aug. 11, has resulted in numerous student-athlete medal winners, and we are pleased to report on their accomplishments.
We are committed to providing detailed information about each individual student-athlete medal winner, as opposed to simply listing the team in the case of a team event. Additionally, the full list of over 1,000 NCAA student-athletes participating in this year’s Olympics is available for review.
As of 9:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Aug. 6, we would like to highlight some of the current and past NCAA student-athletes who have achieved medal success at the 2024 Olympics.
Gold Medalists:
– Vivian Kong from Stanford represented Hong Kong in Fencing Women’s Individual Epee
– Jack Alexy from California competed for the United States in Swimming Men’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay
– Chris Guiliano from Notre Dame also represented the United States in Swimming Men’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay
– Hunter Armstrong from Ohio State participated in Swimming Men’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay for the United States
– Caeleb Dressel from Florida competed for the United States in Swimming Men’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay
– And many other talented athletes
Silver Medalists:
– Kate Douglass from Virginia competed for the United States in Swimming Women’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay
– Gretchen Walsh from Virginia also represented the United States in Swimming Women’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay
– Sarah Bacon from Minnesota competed for the United States in Diving Women’s 3m Springboard Synchro
Bronze Medalists:
– Eszter Muhari from Notre Dame represented Hungary in Fencing Women’s Individual Epee
– Katie Ledecky from Stanford competed for the United States in Swimming Women’s 400m Freestyle
– Mohamed Elsayed from LIU represented Egypt in Fencing Men’s Individual Epee
– And several other remarkable athletes from various universities and countries
The accomplishments of these student-athletes are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence. We are delighted to witness their success on the world stage and are extremely proud of their accomplishments in representing their countries.
