These companies are deemed vital suppliers for Iran’s UAV and ballistic missile initiatives.

Scott Bessent, the Treasury Secretary, stated that “Iran continues to try to find new ways to procure the key components it needs to bolster its UAV weapons program through new front companies and third-country suppliers.” The sanctions aim to obstruct the mechanisms enabling Iran to export its dangerous weaponry to terrorist groups and other destabilizing forces worldwide.

This move follows recent U.S. sanctions on Iran’s oil sector, which is essential to its economy, as President Trump aims to reduce Iranian crude exports to zero to prevent nuclear weapon proliferation.
