U22 Vietnam Arrives in China for CFA Team China 2025 Tournament
U22 Vietnam has arrived in Yancheng, China, for the CFA Team China 2025 international tournament. They aim to test their skills against top teams like South Korea and Uzbekistan. Head coach Dinh Hong Vinh leads a squad of 25 players and has devised a plan to help them adapt to the warm weather. The tournament serves as a crucial learning opportunity ahead of upcoming competitions.
In the early hours of March 18, U22 Vietnam arrived in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, China, to partake in the CFA Team China 2025 international tournament. This competition presents a significant opportunity for the young Vietnamese team to enhance their skills by competing against some of Asia’s premier teams.
Upon their arrival, U22 Vietnam received a warm welcome from local organizers, who facilitated their smooth transition from the airport to their accommodation. The squad is residing at the Gangfu Junlan Grand Hotel, which serves as the lodging for all participating teams, including Uzbekistan and South Korea.
According to their schedule, U22 Vietnam will conduct their first training session at 4:00 PM on March 18, as they prepare for their opening match against U22 South Korea on March 20 at 2:30 PM (Hanoi time). Following this, they will face U22 Uzbekistan on March 23 at 6:35 PM and U22 China on March 25 at 6:35 PM, with all matches set to be held at the Yancheng Olympic Sports Center Stadium.
U22 Vietnam regards this tournament as a vital learning experience, especially when contending with formidable opponents. Head coach Dinh Hong Vinh has appointed 25 players to travel to China, although they will be without Dinh Bac, who is sidelined due to injury.
The weather in Yancheng is warming, with temperatures varying between 10°C and 23°C, prompting the coaching staff to implement an adaptation plan to help players acclimate effectively.
