India Ranks 19th in Medal Table at Paris 2024 Paralympics; China Dominates with 16 Gold Medals
The Paris 2024 Paralympics commenced on Thursday and will run until September 8. India marked its presence at the Games with remarkable performances, notably as Avani Lekhara secured a gold medal and Mona Agarwal achieved a bronze in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 category on Friday. Additional accolades for India followed as Preethi Pal claimed bronze in the women’s 100m T35 event, while Manish Narwal earned a silver medal in the men’s 10m air pistol SH1 category. On Saturday, Rubina Frances joined the medal tally by winning bronze in the P2 Women’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 event.
